What is Port Galaxy?
Port Galaxy is a browser based MMORPG/Social Game based in outer space. Players have the opportunity to create their own character, and customize it’s appearance. From there they can explore our virtual galaxy and make new friends, chat, collect cool items, furniture, and clothes. With furniture, you can create and decorate your own unique rooms on the space port, or maybe even live on a planet. You can collect clothes too, so some players will have completely unique clothing! Many more great features are being added as you read this.

The Alpha tests have already started. Soon we will be releasing the Open Beta for everyone to enjoy. Though we can not give an exact ETA. Port Galaxy will always be a work in progress, as we hope to constantly be adding new features and content to the game. We want the community to make suggestions and tell us what they want to see as well!

Do I need to PAY to PLAY?
Of course not! Port Galaxy is completely free to play, in fact we will be providing many ways for players to get free game content. Several clothes and furniture will be available for free when you get in game, so players who don’t want to buy anything can still enjoy the game. However, you will need to purchase credits in order to buy extra furniture, clothes, etc. We also will be offering a ‘Supernova Membership’ which will give members exclusive content!

How do I play early, or get into the Alpha/Beta?
We have a large amount of beta applications and are progressively inviting more and more applicants to play. We will also be inviting any members we deem ‘active’ to join the Alpha/Beta. So all you have to do is show support. Alpha & Beta invites may also be given away in several promotions.

My character is bugged! Help!
If you start experiencing trouble while playing, try reloading the game. If that doesn’t help, clear your browser cache and try again. If you still have trouble send us a message using the contact page. Some common issue may include: Furniture not appearing, Character not walking in the right places. Don’t panic, reloading usually fixes these issues. We are working on resolving them. If you find a bug please report it using the contact form.

Why can’t I put my furniture down?
This is a minor bug we are working on, it should be fixed very soon if you still see it happening. You can however still put your furniture in your room, just click one tile and then another tile, and it should be placed in the room.

I purchased sofas or seats in the game but can’t sit down and I walk on my sofas?
The main issue with the game at this time is sitting. You may notice how we have tried to make sitting unique in Port Galaxy. The characters legs go to the ground instead of sticking out like in similar games. We also have 3 seat sofas instead of 2 seat sofas. Currently, all of the chairs should work for sitting, and some sofas. We are planning on fixing this as soon as we can. You can also only sit facing south directions. You can still however, enjoy walking around on your sofas and messing around with the bug!
